My family stayed up in Packwood over the weekend (NE of Rainier), and I decided to hike up to Camp Muir on the way home.
I only took water, running shoes (and t-shirt/shorts), and a some graham crackers (no shades -- so I used a shirt for protection), so it was sketchy going up Muir snow field. I took pics:

Slid down the ruts on the way down -- the whole hike took about 5 hr.
