Spare me please, next thing you know I'll be drinking Pagan Pink Ripple, or what was that other one from the past, Baili Hai (sp?)  . Give me a good Syrah, Shiraz, or Cab anyday - something hearty.

Touron is a nougat of Arabic origin made with almonds and honey or sugar, without which it would just not be Christmas in Spain.

C'mon, a good rose is refreshing and goes better with bbw and burgers and pizza than even a hearty shiraz or zin!
Pic St. loup or Spain or even USA.... and for less than $30 per bottle, too.

I agree with you David. A good dry rose is a great summer drink. An inexpensive one is La Vieille Ferme available currently at QFC for around $8.
But I do agree "Friends do not let friends drink White Zinfandel" That stuff is terrible not the same as a good dry Rose.
