Kinda photo related but very little. I have a white diffusing umbrella for outdoor bright sun. Some time ago while on Whiskey Ridge, an unfriendly gust of wind took hold. It severely bent 3 of the arms that go from the center column to the metal ribs attached to the fabric. They're not broken yet. I want to repair it. My thought is to cut some small dia. stainless or aluminum welding rod, cement it in and tie around it with a fly tying bobbin. These pieces are 'V'ed and will take 3/32 rod nicely. Any suggestions on the type of cement/glue I should use? Something that isn't real quick drying but will hold tight. Any other way of repairing? I have some small hobby clamps that can be used but that makes working space a premium. Thanks

It's pretty safe to say that if we take all of man kinds accumulated knowledge, we still don't know everything. So, I hope you understand why I don't believe you know everything. But then again, maybe you do.
