It looks like it could be from any member of the deer family to me, though it's probably a little big for a plain old deer. I'd lean towards BPJ's guess, elk. It also resembles moose that I've seen, but moose aren't very common around here (though I dont know where the picture was taken). Just my uneducated guess. Andrew
