I would guess the Laura/Lillian route.... Hmmm....
I don't know exactly where that starts so were I to, the early start idea would be somewhat problematic.
I seem to recall previous TNAB trip reports where people couldn't all find the actual starting point and ended up all over the place.

Yea TNAB isn't a place to be discovering new routes you are unfamiliar with... For Alta plan on taking my time (whatever that is depending on the mood) to get up there. I hit Dickerman this weekend so it will probably be Alta next.
I tend to do my dumpster dive/Wednesday afternoon hikes faster since often the destination isn't anything all that new, there is less time, and conditioning is a part of that too.

TNAB knee carnage getting extra pretty. The knee still works though, so no complaints
I'm too sexy for my bruise,
too sexy for my bruise,
soo sexy it hurts
It's dark on TNAB, you know what I mean,
so I took a little dive on the board walk,
slippery board walk, muddy board walk, yeah
and I took about a little fall on the board walk.
I'm to sexy for my scab,
too sexy for my scab,
whatcha think about that?
(must have landed on my head to be using Right Said Fred)

Well done! I wish I could have been there, especially for the "rewards"...

I discovered TNAB awhile ago, but haven't had a chance to go yet. You guys always talk about how fast you hike, but I'd like to get a feel for how fast you really go by comparing times on a common hike.
I hate to use it as a benchmark, but Mt. Si is the only hike I can think of that I've done that I'm sure you all have done, and that I remember how long it took me.
My best time (up only) for Mt. Si was about 1 hour 10 min (probably came down in about the same time). I was in a little better shape then than I am now, but its a good reference still.
Also, is there anywhere that you list your upcoming hikes? I've only see mention of TNAB in Trip Reports, which only has information on completed hikes.

I think TNAB takes an hour up SI in the snow but that may be an overestimate...
My best time of an hour and 31 minutes about a month ago at nearly 48 years old and 35 lbs heavier than I should be.... Arrgh...

An hour and 10 minutes is plenty fast, I think. I know I can't get up Si that quick.
PM Mesahchie Mark for upcoming hikes.
