The reply to my post showed a mod for a smaller pot, I think mine is simpler. I take aluminum sheeting and a pair of scissors to cut off a long 1" wide strip. I bend it as needed to conform to any size pot. Anything that separates the pot bottom from the plastic will do. George

Oh totally. All you need is a "riser". Though you do want to keep the bag out of the water - so the thin disk helps that.

But remember that there should be at least 1" of water to prevent scorching. The aluminum is called flashing, at Home Depot or hardware store. George

You can also use up worn out windscreens as well (same material) - makes an easy recycle project.
