Greetings, I am a 51 year old guy, living in the area for about a year, looking for local hiking partners, for mostly weekend trips, mostly within perhaps an 80-100 or so mile radius. Lots of experience in the past, but haven't been out much lately, and am not in the best shape--am working on it! Looking for trips that are strenuous but not necessarily brutal. I was just out that way this weekend. Hiked Umtanum Creek Canyon. Spent the night in a nice clearing near the creek. Except for a few rattlers on the way out, and lots of tics, it is a nice area to explore. I headed over from Everett and it was definitely worth the drive. May head out that way again this weekend to hike Durr Road and North Yakima Skyline with a stop along Rosa Creek for the night.
