I am looking for someone to join me on day hikes in N Central WA. I am new to hiking and looking for someone who would like to explore the area this summer on weekends.

How far do you like to hike? What places are you interested in going to?

I would be up to it, if you don't mind me having a baby on some days.
How do you define "hiking" mileage, verticle gain, ect. any areas you have in mind?

Cody, I live in Anacortes. So we are very close. How far do you like to go? Where and how much elevation gain. I am a pretty avid hiker and backpacker.

I usually just dayhike, but a 20 mile day is doable, with gas prices I do spend a lot of time in the chuckanuts. I am always up for an after work hike in anacortes, deception pass, or chuckanuts.
Father's day I always try to do the baker lake trail but this year I don't have a partner for a second vehicle. I would love to spend some time this year up at baker.
Weather doesn't concern me too much, so if your up for a partner let me know, solo hiking is getting kinda boring.

I spend alot of time in the Baker area Mountain Loop, Hwy 2 and North Cascades hwy. Really like Chuckanut area and the north end of Whidbey island. I have Fri, Sat and Sundays free. Let me know if any of you are up for a hike. This weekend I am really booked up but would like to keep in touch with all of you for future hikes.

Well until the trails are mostly clear of snow I go up Mount Erie quite regularly and also Sugar Loaf and Little round top in the ACFL. But I really look forward to being in the mountains!!

Annie Bird --
There is at least one hiking club in Wenatchee. There are also shorter hikes to do in the area. Just type "Wenatchee hiking" into Google. Your best bet is to network with other women hikers. I'll bet you can make a number of hiking friends who can also help you with what equipment you need and where to hike.
