Costco - it freezes well. Due to the high content of seeds and nuts is why partly it is so pricey. I bake a lot of bread but for DKB, it is my guilty pleasure to get up.gif

PS: If you are ever down to Portland, go to their bakery outlet - it is across the street from Bob's Red Mill's store. You can get great buys on DKB - and find all the types! up.gif

it is addicting it is filled with whole seeds and nuts ( ymmv) and you just have to pick up a loaf and see that it weighs twice as much as a same size loaf of another brand flavorful could you find a recipe , probably, but after the investment of ingredients time and effort, you are likely to be spending a whole lot more I find it at Safeway

It's awesome stuff for sure. It ruined me for bread. When I lived alone, I was happy with just regular Franz bread, or whatever. I put my foot down on 99 cent store brand. Hell I ain't crazy. I was also happy with roma tomatos, or beefsteak. But no more; it's Dave's Killer bread and heirlooms. The only way I can live alone now is if I got rich or something, so I can eat the bread and tomatos I was born to eat.

Yep. My family eats it. My kids prefer the whole wheat (they aren't into all the seeds and stuff). I like that it has real ingredients. No cellulose or HFCS in these. up.gif
