Hello - What do you do for post hike eats? I've been going to WingStop in Belleveue after hiking on the East Side which is great but I'd really like something healthier afterwards. I get really hungry after hiking so I need something filling but I'd like to avoid the fried food. I don't cook so I want to go to a restaurant. The restaurant should stay open after 6pm on Sundays. Thanks!

If you want to stay in Bellevue, try What the Pho.

A few of my usual spots, the Caboose in Cle Elum, Issaquah Brewhouse, Snoqualmie Brewery, Gustavs in Leavenworth, the Trainwreck in Burlington, Pizza Pipeline in Bellingham, Bubba's in Sultan, that Mexican place in Goldbar- La Hacienda I think. Oh wait... All those places serve nothing but greasy fried food...

If you're as far south as Centralia...I love Burgervilke after a hike! Otherwise, Taco Time is my favorite post hike food hands down!

Most times I do a hike anywhere North of Seattle and come back into Seattle on I5 and try and make the slight deviation to Mukilteo for some post-hike beer and food at the Diamond Knot brewery. They do their own beer (I really like the ESB) but the real highlight are the steaks/seafood/mushroom on a hot stone. You basically get a Sirloin or other type of food and a hot stone in a tray and then cook the food yourself on the stone. Comes with a couple of sauces and a few sides and is incredibly good. up.gif
