no view of azure lake, the East ridge from Glee Pk blocks the view.

I have fond memories of this one, solo, in January of 2010. Looks like you guys took the same route I did up the steep section. I think snowshoes for me were pretty crucial along the ridgeline. Two tools were a necessity. I wound up climbing it again in 2015 with much better views. One of my favorite day trips ever.

A ship is safe in harbor, but that's not what ships are for.

Good memories of this one! That steep snow/rock section is no joke. Eric cruised up it in a few minutes then waited for us for at least an hour while we took our time figuring it out. He was freezing when we got to him but couldn't have been more patient, never a word of complaint. If you hit the conditions right this is an awesome winter climb, probably tied with Blum as my favorite winter trip I have done up.gif
