Hi! My Port Angeles hiking buddy moved at the end of last month so I’m looking for a hiking partner for the end of July. We do about 20-25 miles per day with fully loaded packs. Im not a runner but I like to clock the miles. We did Dodger Point and up Hurricane hill down Wolf Creek to hot springs the last time from Madison. Not sure I really want to plan a big trip with someone I don’t know but would anyone want to do Heather Park/Lake Angeles Loop just as a day hike? I’m new to these list things. I will be up there July 27th-30th. I have my backcountry permit but not sure if I’m just gunna do a bunch of loops like Sol Duc loop to get the miles in.
