^ it's a really, really, really bad idea to construct dwelling units within the flood plain of a river. Be happy to tell you all about it some day. My understanding, after talking with Bob Smith, who owned the parcel about a quarter mile downstream, was that the cabin made one hell of a noise when it went into the river at about 4:00 am. I always wondered what all those little bats who lived inside the walls of that cabin did when the Nisqually swallowed up their happy little home? YMMV
