Steve, Rick, and I took a day hike into Josephine via the cheater trail Friday. Only saw 2 other people. Had one small smattering of snow. Great day with the guys. Looks like this place has been hammered this summer. The road is not pretty toward the end.

Sorry I had to bail on this one. But I had just been on that trail this fall and remember it having too many ups and downs for my current liking. Looks like you had a good time.
While you were up there, Wildernessed and I were having coffee down at Pybus Market discussing your trip and had you in our thoughts. We were also weighing options for future hikes given our current aches and pains. We came up with the Mission Ridge pipeline trail and Horse Lake area after driving up to get our elevation. That's what it's coming down to!

Since Wildernessed caught all the fish in Horse Lake I don't know why we would bother going up there. Ridge area still sounds good.
