We tend to think of the bison as a great plains animal, but since at one time they inhabited parts of the PNW, I thought I'd post this here (historic range on map in dark brown). Currently streaming at PBS online. A great film but not an uplifting story, except for the "rescue" efforts more contemporaneously.
