Anyone know of a mesh "baseball" styled cap with an extra wide brim? I'm looking for something to wear with a sun hoody.
For some reason search engines are not turning any up although I've seen such caps in pictures. I have "technical" caps from OR I like but I'm looking for an extra wide brim, something that will shade more of my cheek.
You could wear a bucket hat and turn the rear brim under to keep it from rubbing on your pack. Drape a bandana under a standard cap. Wrap around cyclist glasses. Zinc oxide. Rotate a standard ball cap in the direction of sun?
You might want to search Amazon for “Junlper shade hat” and “Uveto shade hat” and scroll around for different styles offered. Some have pretty wide bills that you might like. Prices were pretty low, some with detachable shade flaps and even some with skull cap/flap combos to wear under you hat of choice.
I loved a Dodgers hat I got free at a game years ago until a goshawk got it at a BC lake. Now I use a wide brim OR sun hat I got at their annual sale, it's literally been around the world.
