anyone been to the Re-sport in b'ham?... its a sports store consignment shop...everything goes down in price 10% a week to keep things moving.. i thought it was a cool idea...mostly outdoor clothing, ski's, boots, shoes, and camping/ hiking gear.. i put up a few things on consignment there, they get to keep 40% of the selling price.. its what keeps them in business. some of the prices are great, and some people just have way to high expectations of there used gear. worth checking out if you like to buy used(like me).

There's a mostly unspoken acknowledgment among the voluntarily impoverished that it's better to be fiscally poor yet rich in experience-living the dream-than to be traditionally wealthy but live separate from one's passions.
