The weather was awesome today on Si. Took a friend out hiking for the first time (i know, your thinking mt si on the first trip) and she made it. I felt pretty good with a 38 lb pack on my back. I think the season has offically started for me.
Thats all.

Good conditioning run, i hear alot about Mt. Si and will have to check it out some time. I have the routes in several guidebooks, but haven't paid much attention to it. It's not on the short list.

I wish we had started a little earlier though. There were so many people on the trail today. Mainly while we were on the way to the bottom. It's a great short hike, but if the trail is over crowded, it can be a hassle to stop every couple of minutes to let someone go by. The upside to all the traffic is that all the people i have passed are the nicest people. Everyone greets you while on the trail.

I have noticed that, myself, most everywhere that hikers and backpackers are nice, polite people (at least on the trail) and usually smiling. Has to be the environment !

Any word on the trampoline?
I might make the drive if that is still going on...
