I can only choose one? Another question - are we lumping Mt. Baker Snoqualmie wilderness in with North Cascades Natl Park? I'd have to say North Cascades first - cause that's where I live, followed closely by Glacier Peak and then Alpine Lakes. Rainier and places to the south are awfully nice, but they just don't rock my world the way the North Cascades do. I don't have much experience with the Olympics - yet.

North cascades are okay... but for me to find any good hikes i'd have to travel up to around where you live. I don't like the mountain loop highway... as it has rained every time i've hiked there. It set a bad record with me. So i don't like hiking there. I love hiking snoqualmie pass. That's my fav. I-90 has plenty of great hikes... and much better weather I think. I like the drier weather... not the pouring rain.

Hmmm....maybe there should be a nwhikers umbrella for the Hwy 2 and Mtn Loopers. I see jenjen hasn't cast a vote for N. Cascades yet. biggrin.gif -tofu on toast hiker

I was just waiting for your reply. wink.gif I seem to get rained on more often toward Verlot than I do near Darrington. So, Godlygirl, maybe you just need to go a wee bit further north?

Sorry, the poll still needs improvement. Need "All the above," or the ability to do a combination. This poll is bringin' me down, man. It's snuffing me out. Oppressing me. Forcing me to make a choice of only one. It just ain't American, I tell ya!
