There are alot of hot neighborhoods, but it's not like I would post a map to one or tell someone how to get there. They are secret. If you discover them yourself it's alot more fun. No one wants the best places overrun.
I would agree that Seattle COULD be cleaner but it is hands down the cleanest city I have ever been to. Compared to any other American city it is absolutely sparkling (I cannot believe how bad SF is).

'I have to agree with Quark that it's a shame so much of Seattle is so trashy. Gasworks and Myrtle Edwards are two parks I frequent on bike or foot and they are sure rough around the edges- I know there is a budget crisis but public places should be the last places that you see results of it at. They're the city's front porch for cryin' out loud. San Francisco is another city similar in ways to Seattle and you don't have to look closely to see that it's a dump- really surprising for such a "destination" city.'
