I believe that some think the Japanese sport of Sumo wrestling is a type of ballet. And here the proportions are just he opposite!

Sadly, no one wants to watch a fatty do the ballet. I've been a few rounds with this whole show biz thing, and ballet, in particular, is a show both of atheticism and grace, but also one of aesthetics.

Ok, since you're being straight forward, and polite, I agree with you.......
The trouble is, there are standards in literally every endeavor we choose to pursue. We all know these standards when we start out in our chosen fields or hobbies. If we don't know then we don't last very long.
That said, usually those standards, over time don't change, sadly WE do.
Those changes are our responsibility, not the organization, hobby, or whatever it ends up being.
If you don't/haven't met those standards to begin with, you probably shouldn't have chosen that field of interest.
Look I'm not without sympathy, but ballet isn't my forte, rugby would be. I'm 5'8" tall and 210 pounds! It's my responsibility to choose wisely!

I want to know why it slipped totaly by that BPJ wants to be a female gymnast. Also, why is it fair that my dream job will always be denied me? (President of the NAACP).

But if she's 5'7" and an already highly anorexic 110 lbs, and they consider that too fat ------- the ballet's standards are seriously unhealthy and dangerously scary, and IMHO - very very wrong. I don't think the point is that they HAVE standards, but it's what those standards are set at.

Everyone is wrong! The best ice cream is Blue Bell, from central Texas. Can't get it here and I haven't found anything comparable yet.
