It's OK to talk sports here but when the majority of posts include elements intended to ridicule or antagonize it not adding value to the forum or living by our posting terms. Such trolling won't be tolerated going forward.

Thanks for the info. Who else is going to opening day at the newly-minted “T-Mobile Field”?

I’m pretty stoked to have tickets for both opening day and for the first Sunday game. If nobody else is going to opening day, is anyone going to “kids opening day” on Sunday?

Bye-bye Pax
Is it a rebuild if it was never built in the first place?
Traded to the Yankmees...
Hopefully they actually get some real value...but I'm skeptical considering the proven track record of this organization.
Since I have no expectations of forgiveness, I don't do it in the first place. That loop hole needs to be closed to everyone.

Sounds like the Yankees are trying to increase their depth at pitching. It wasn’t enough to get past the World Champion Boston Red Sox in the playoffs this year.

Is anyone else going to this? It looks like a really neat way to experience T Mobile Field and hopefully bring in some more money for free agents.

Sad to see Diaz go, but glad to be rid of Cano. And I was a fan of his until last year, when he came back the team totally tanked and fell out of the playoffs.
This team won't need a closer for a few more years.
Sounds like they are re-stocking the farm.
Now lets see what they get in return for Segura and Seager.

It is going to be great having two AAA teams in the Puget Sound area.

I like what the M's are finally doing. It's about time they aren't trying to sell us a contender and are committed to a rebuild. I'm ok with a few more losses in the next couple years if it strengthens the team in the long run. I look forward to seeing some of the new prospects get a chance.

That is OK if it is a high school team that has the same group of groomed players for 3-4 years the wins state. Not so much for a pro team that was not so great to begin with.

I suspect that 2022 will be the Mariners year! Can’t wait!

That'll be so cool! Then I can ride the light rail down from Lynnwood for the M's WS victory parade rather than fight Seattle traffic!

Or maybe even your flying car! You'll of course want to watch out for recently-evolved pigs who will be sharing the same airspace!
