Call me a skeptic if you like. I cannot picture an insurance company LOWERING rates.

I get a rebate check from my carrier every year, based on the performance of the people insured by them in Wa.

USAA.
Darn good insurance if you can get in
Our two trucks and home insurance is what I used to pay Farmer's for just MY truck.
And yes the yearly kickback is nice.

Bah! Say it isn't so!
I'm the former dependent of a former dependant, that's how I got in.
I think there hardest part is that they are really picky about a pristine driving record.

What's Synchro's story?

Location, location, location.
My brother is a property/casulty insurance agent in Silverdale. The rate he quoted me for Seattle is about double the rate if I lived at his address.

Dad is a retired career military.
And hooboy, location is everything!!! When I moved to Kent from Whidbey Island my rates went up by almost $150 every 6 months. Maple Valley is better at least (and now I have much better insurance anyways.) One of the reasons I never blinked about leaving Farmer's. I have a great driving record and only saw my rates get crappier with with moving to an urban area.
