How was that long trek back to the car? Trail goes on forever doesnt it?!?!
It sure felt a lot longer on the way out than the way in. Fortunately I brought some ultra breathable jogging shoes and hiked sockless for extra ventilation. Definitely the way to go on this trail if you carry a light pack. I looked forward to walking through all the creeks on the way back. Instant refreshment. Ahh!

Did you happen to notice a route to cross over to Tuck/Robin?
No boot path or trail, but as Brian indicated, there are multiple cross country options. I probably wouldn't have done the route I did without a raft.

Did this trip via french ridge as an overnighter, and as a daytrip via french creek, and preferred the ridge "trail" (it was under snow-early season) to the creek trail. Via the ridge was scary crossing the creek (right before heading up to the lakes), both directions. Later on in the season this crossing is easier but buggier. nice pics, tom drink.gif Never felt inclined to go to bob though, thanks for the pics!!

I'm not always sure I like being older but being less stupid has advantages. http://www.flickr.com/photos/32121172@N00/sets/

Very_very cool greens, Tom!

Now it occured to me, as I awoke from deeper dreams... All this evolution and still I don't know what it means. Dirty dreams or purity? How can so many people think they're right when everybody's wrong?
