You've gotta be careful here jenjen. If you don't see too well you could be heading into "kittie rocha" territory. I suggest always sniffing that dropped candy before it goes down the hatch !

Since I'm not a huge fan of chocolate, I would probably pick it up and give it to one of my co-workers

I understand all of these words individually, but together they make no sense at all!

It makes me a good hiking/backpacking partner. Nobody fears having to share their stash with me.
Even more unbelievable to some is that I don't really like ice cream much either
I'm not an alien, really.
Now whiskey, on the other hand.....

See, this is why I always wear my glasses or contacts. Avoiding those sorts of incidents is much easier when one is wearing the proper corrective lenses.

Guess it depends on if someone has already stepped on it or not.

I would pick it up and then offer it to someone else a while later.

A single M&M? Why bother? Who eats a single M&M!? It's like the Lay's Potato Chip commercial, "Betcha can't Eat Just One". Most people enhale them by the handful - and that's about all that comes in a tiny vending bag these days!! Unless there were simply more scattered brethren on the floor, I'd leave the chocolaty foot note to a more desperate soul. Now if it were a Grand Marnier truffle from the Green Lake Chocolati Cafe, that would be a different story...
