A friend of my daughter’s has gone missing since November 22, possibly on a hike in the Cascades. Here is a flyer with some information. Any help would be much appreciated!
If anyone sees this car at a trailhead, please contact SPD.

Here is some more information about Mark. It looks like most hikes he was interested in were in the I90 corridor, although Tunnel Creek was listed there but is actually off Highway 2. He was a coworker and friend of my daughter’s in NYC a few years ago and has since moved out to the PNW. If anyone is on WH&C fb page (which I am not), feel free to share this.

There's a theory that between 4:13p Nov 22nd when last seen in Tacoma and a scheduled DJ job that same night in Seattle, he decided to go hiking?

Those details are here and on X and FB... both events same day (last seen - didn't show up) according to all of them. I'm not providing info. Just wondering if it makes sense that he would do such a thing before people start combing trailheads for THNKFL4.

Thanks, Huron, I agree, it doesn’t make sense to look for his car at trailheads up in the mountains due to the timeline. There would have been time for a local hike or run closer in to the metropolitan area.

Here's some coverage in the Capitol Hill Blog. Quote: A popular area DJ who never showed up at his show last week at Capitol HIll’s Q Nightclub has gone missing. Family, loved ones, and fellow performers have joined the effort to help find Mark Martinez who has not been heard from since Wednesday before the show when he was scheduled to perform as Subset on a night before Thanksgiving bill with headliner Mija at the Broadway dance club. Family hopes details of Martinez’s missing vehicle might help. “Thank you for loving and caring about my brother,” his sister posted Monday. “He still has not been found. If you’re in the PNW his license plates should be easy to spot/ THNKFL4 on his black Toyota Rav 4.” The 35-year-old Martinez’s last known location on the 22nd was Tacoma where he resides. ~z

I went to K9 and Hydrant from the Tunnel Creek trailhead on the 25th. I didn't see any other vehicles in at the trailhead. There were tracks from other hikers up to Hope Lake but they turned North on the PCT. No tracks going South toward Thunder Mountain.

Wow...what a relief! Such great news, especially considering the weather for the past 2 weeks. Really happy for him, his family and friends.

Awesome! Now I can speculate. Given he is a dj in the dance scene and time of year. He stopped to pick mushrooms and went on an extended trip. Hope he is all good. Looks like fun guy. Glad he wasn't stuck out in this rain.
