Mariners “fans” are pathetic. Worst crybabies in sports, and they know nothing. If any of them bothered to pull their heads out of their own rear ends, they would find that one of the team’s biggest sources of revenue is on the verge of collapse.
What's your point? Do you really expect anyone to read the wall of text following this introduction? My point is Mariners part owner Chris Larson doesn't like to pay property taxes. Just like me. Only he's better at it. Stay true to the Blue! Go Ms!

When Ryan Divish is speaking out against the ownership group, you know things are bad. Apparently Shannon Drayer, and Mike Salk have also been vocal about the situation too, so that's extra bonus points. Guess these must be the whiny Mariners fans that Sluggo was talking about? https://www.seattletimes.com/sports/mariners/analysis-why-mariners-john-stanton-need-to-be-more-transparent/#Echobox=1702345190

Sometimes, it's just not your day!

Go placidly amid the noise and waste, and remember what comfort there may be in owning a piece thereof.

The Divish article is great, particularly since he has always seemed to pride himself on a relatively agnostic reporter--explicitly not a fan, not someone who gets emotional about the team. This was an aggressive and emotional article. It is extraordinary how much good will ownership is willing to destroy, and maybe even more extraordinary that Stanton, who is not young, seems willing to let his legacy be the miserly guy that reneged on the promise of rebuilding and a championship. Does someone need to remind him that you can't take it with you?

There is no excuse for not doing all it takes in order to field a winning team, if one can't afford to do that then they should not own a team. I mean, pretty much every major sports franchise is now going for a billion+. Most team owners have made or are making a ton of money in other business and investment endeavors, a sports team should be like a hobby and with most hobbies, one does not make money from it. A sports team should be like a toy for a billionaire, not a business trying to show a profit. imho.

Go placidly amid the noise and waste, and remember what comfort there may be in owning a piece thereof.

Try doing a search on “Mariners RSN”, if you aren’t too lazy to read or think, and you might actually learn something.
Me thinks Slugman watches the Mariners on the television a lot. Me thinks Slugman is upset about the increased cost. Recommendation: Slugman can vote with his dollar.

Art is an adventure.
