Are there any good deals on outer layer jackets out there? Waterproof, windproof, light weight, farily inexpensensive, no tax is good to! smile.gif

The Marmot PreCip is a good inexpensive lightweight jacket. Campmor sells it for $80.

Outdoor and More (if you are in Seattle) has lots of Precips (which I also like) for $89 (then you save yourself the shipping charges from Campmor).

Hey--I was going to say that! Also check out www.sierratradingpost.com. They sometimes have decent deals on Marmot Precip.
