thx for the beta .. we were just thinking about that this morn .. done camping in the snow lol .. anyhow check out ancient amblers recent tr .. you will see some pix of the bailey range and snowfinger .. i do believe compared to last year (which was also a record yr for snow because of the late dump) at this time there is still way more snow up there ..
btw that tarn is swimming bear lake (or also called cat lake) .. this was taken there in late fall a couple yrs ago

Did the 7 Lakes Basin/Heart Lake Loop this weekend. Trail is in perfect condition. Only walked in 10' total of Trail Snow.
There will be fresh snow falling soon in the High Country.
