An instrumental from The Aristocrats, a supergroup comprised of three of the very best musicians at their respective instruments. All three take turns composing songs; this one is credited to the drummer, Marco Minnemann.

I have always enjoyed Frog Leap Studios productions.. But.. Hannah Boulton is the true gem. She is full of talent, and everything from Opera to Metal..

This is pretty amazing, it's truer to the original than I thought would be possible on a guitar.

I've been streaming Sarah Jarosz' latest album on hoopla. She goes a bit 'lectrified on several of the songs. This is one that jumped out to me after a couple of listens.

I don't know why it took so long for the algorithms from Pandora or You Tube or whatever to start playing me Antje Duvekot, seems like it should've been a no brainer a long time ago but I've only known about her the last year or two. Love much of her stuff. Her voice is slightly reminiscent to me of other vocalists, maybe a bit of Lucy Kaplansky, a bit of Natalie Merchant, maybe even Nanci Griffith.

We went to see Madonna's "Celebration Tour" concert in Pittsburgh last night. An amazing show! I can't recommend it enough, if you can catch it. I think it comes to Seattle later on this year. 65yrs old, but still going strong (despite a knee brace), and her voice sounded as good as ever. (Warning: There's a bit of nudity during one song.)

A new backpacking song I've added - "Northwest". Congrats Grammy winner! Imagine going down some switchbacks at this pace. It's fun!
