Just streamed the new Kacey Musgraves album on hoopla. A couple songs stood out to me on first listen, this is one of them.

For some reason I thought this band was defunct. They are still alive. Putting out new music. And heading to Seattle on tour soon. I'm a bit tempted to check it out. Haven't been to a concert in forever (right before covid ended the world).

While I was playing around on you tube this popped up. Never heard of them before. I'm really liking it. They've been around for a while apparently. It thumps. Videos are all kinda weird, pretty fetishistic. Music seems like a throwback to 90s or early 2000s. It's maybe a bit like if Britney Spears went much, much darker.

I knew the name Crystal Castles but never paid much attention. Then I heard a few songs from this singer and found out she was formerly the vocalist from CC.
