I was lost for almost an hour at Ten Lake, Yosemite, could not find the trail head, not so good at reading map, and lost my sense of orientation. Thinking of buying a GPS, do you think it will help?anyone own one when go hiking?helpfull? handy? If so, which GPS do you think is good to buy, where is a good place to buy?I just want to make sure I'm not going to get lost again when I hike at a new area. Thank you...Hung

It doesn't sound like a GPS would be the best thing for you right now.
