I had some scratches on my sedan. I didn't need much, just a small bottle of primer and then paint that was color-matched to my car. I got the paint number off the vehicle--maybe the door jamb. I can't recall exactly. I maybe asked the parts guy at the dealership for directions. (It's been awhile.)
Eventually I found these folks. They were a little slow to ship it out, but it did eventually arrive and the color matched perfectly. I cleaned the area with warm water, mild soap, then cleaned it with alcohol and dried it thoroughly. It comes with a little brush applicator. Link 1. Link 2.
Hope this helps. ~z
Great. I forgot to add that you'll want a really fine piece of sandpaper to smooth out any rough edges either with the original scratch or after the primer dries and possibly needs to be blended in a bit.
Definitely clean out any possible rust/corrosion that may have developed if the scratch is not recent. ~z
